The Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan has published a new issue of the quarterly popular science journal «Miras» in Turkmen, Russian, and English. The publication continues its series of articles highlighting historical discoveries, culture, linguistics, and the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».
The opening pages feature congratulatory messages from the President of Turkmnistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of national holidays and commemorative dates. The «New Scientific Discoveries" section includes articles exploring the depiction of horses in ancient Eastern manuscripts (the Atnama series), a study by German researcher D. Messler on horse symbolism in the Parthian era, and relevant archaeological finds in Turkmenistan.
Additionally, the issue features an article by Dr. Mykola Vaskiv (Ukraine) on the universal values embedded in the epic «Görogly», research into the literary connection between Magtymguly and Durdy Şahyr, and a study tracing the historical development of Turkmen-Russian literary ties. The publication concludes with the traditional "Chronicle of Scientific and Cultural Life" section.
