UAE Arab Horse Society delegation arrives in Ashgabat

A high-level delegation from the Arab Horse Society (EAHS) of the United Arab Emirates has arrived in Ashgabat, headed by Director General Mohamed Ahmed Musleh Al Harbini. The guests were welcomed by Ahmed Berdyev, Director General of the State Association "Turkmen Atlary." The visit is aimed at advancing joint projects in horse breeding and strengthening ties between the leading centers for breeding Akhal-Teke and Arabian horses.

The program for the first day of the stay in the Turkmen capital was packed with events. Following official talks at Turkmen Atlary, delegation members visited the State Museum of Turkmenistan, where they viewed the country's cultural treasures. The day's highlight was a visit to the Ashgabat Equestrian Complex, where guests were shown elite Akhal-Teke horses. The head of the UAE delegation emphasized the uniqueness of the Turkmen horse-breeding school and noted the importance of exchanging professional experience in this strategically important field.

During the rest of the visit, the delegation will travel to Arkadag, the region's first "smart city," to see the work of the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding and its Scientific and Production Center. A special part of the program will be a performance by the Galkynysh national equestrian games troupe at the Goroglu Circus. The visit will conclude on August 7, laying the groundwork for long-term agreements in horse breeding and in cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
