On August 11 of this year, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkmenistan Amer bin Ali Al-Shehri. This was reported on the official website of the relevant ministry.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of Turkmen-Saudi relations, prospects for development, and key issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Particular attention was paid to further strengthening political and diplomatic ties, expanding trade and economic relations, and developing cooperation in other areas of mutual interest.
The diplomats also exchanged views on cooperation within international organizations and considered important aspects of the international and regional agendas.
At the end of the meeting, mutual interest was expressed in bringing friendly relations and regular dialogue between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to new heights.
