President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the State Program for 2022-2028 for the careful preservation of objects of the National historical and cultural heritage, their protection and study, attracting tourists to them, and also the Plan measures for its implementation during an expanded meeting of the Government, dedicated to the results of the work of industries in the first quarter of the year.
This Program will contribute to further scientific study of the ancient history and rich cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, national values, their preservation for future generations and wide popularization in the world. It provides measures on attracting foreign and domestic tourists to visit historical and cultural monuments and picturesque places, located on the territory of Turkmenistan.
The ministries, sectoral departments and hyakims of the velayats were instructed to timely implement the activities planned in these areas.
