The President of Turkmenistan held an off-site meeting of the Government in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on April 14. Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov considered the issues of socio-economic development of the Balkan velayat, agricultural work and preparations for the National Day of the Turkmen Horse during the meeting.
Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to speed up prospecting and exploration activities in the coastal promising areas of the Caspian Sea, to carry out proper work on the discovery and development of new fields with the involvement of the private sector and foreign investment.
Also, the issues on filling the domestic market with import-substituting industrial and construction products, opening new industries, preparing for the Summit of the heads of state of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey were considered during the meeting.
Separate instructions were given on the preparation of events dedicated to the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, on holding at a high organizational level the opening ceremony of a multidisciplinary hospital for 400 beds and the laying of a complex of residential buildings for workers in the transport and communications industry in the city Turkmenbashi of Balkan velayat.
Specific instructions were also given to hold a scientific and practical conference in the historical and cultural complex of monuments “Dehistan” of the Balkan velayat, and also an international scientific meeting “Historical and cultural monuments of Turkmenistan - in the center of attention of the world community” in Ashgabat.
Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed a number of instructions to build the capacity of the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone, develop the service sector here, and, taking into account the approaching summer period, ordered to properly prepare for the holiday season for adults and children.
