Draft documents and a number of topical issues were considered at the Government meeting

Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system on May 20, at which draft documents and a number of issues were considered, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

It was reported that this year it is planned to put into operation 52 large industrial and social facilities. It is envisaged to carry out work aimed at stimulating the creation of new enterprises in the manufacturing sector and the service sector, creating a favorable business environment, creating new jobs, and improving the system of state registration of institutions.

The head of state gave instructions on the preparation of the state budget of the country for 2023.

Esteemed President signed the presented document on the payment of expenses from the special purpose account of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.

Instructions were given to ensure strict control over the complete completion of work at the Center for the repair and maintenance of power equipment being built in Ashgabat.

The head of state gave a number of instructions on organizing a high-level exhibition on May 29 dedicated to the development of the carpet, textile and trade industries, a conference of the World Association of Connoisseurs of Turkmen Handmade Carpet Weaving, am awards ceremony for carpet weavers, and cultural events.

Esteemed President approved the presented Plan for holding the festival “Turkmen theater art” in Ashgabat on May 21-25 and ordered to hold a creative forum at a high level, presenting the achievements of the national theater art in all its diversity.

Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also approved the program of upcoming events on the occasion of the end of the 2021-2022 academic year, Ashgabat City Day and the Last Bell ceremony in secondary schools with the participation of graduates.

During the meeting, a proposal was approved to hold a regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the Protection of Intellectual Property Objects, created by the Decree of the Head of State dated May 21, 2021, this month.

Summing up the results of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that in January-April 2022, the total volume of capital investments disbursed in the country from all sources of financing amounted to 7,8 billion manats. Work is being successfully carried out to increase the production capacities of industries and the sustainable development of regions, to improve the social and living conditions of the population. The state allocates huge funds for this.

During this period, 492 new economic entities were registered, 1thousand 662 new jobs were opened in the regions.
