JAC E-J7 electric cars will run in the city of Arkadag

In the new city of Arkadag, the opening ceremony of which is scheduled for June 29, environmentally safe public transport on electric traction will be launched.

By order of the Agency "Turkmenavtoulaglary" of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the economic company "Paihas Merkezi" (Paýhas Merkezi) provided the delivery of the first batch of 10 electric vehicles of E-J7 models and 5 charging stations to them with a capacity of 60 kW from JAC MOTORS.

According to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", the E-J7 model is intended for use as a city taxi. The famous Italian designer Daniel Gallione worked on the design of the car, who had a hand in creating the appearance of Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati.

The JAC E-J7 electric car is equipped with a panoramic sunroof, automatically folding rear-view mirrors, a rear-view camera, cruise control, and a 10.4-inch multimedia touch screen. It has a powerful motor system with a new 3 in 1 technology. The charging station for electric vehicles with a capacity of 60 KW supplies current under 380V AC with a frequency of 50Hz. The housing material is made of galvanized steel with a certified energy meter and a protective shutdown device equipped with 2 charging ports, which makes it possible to charge 2 cars at the same time, the source reports.

Paihas Merkezi, which has been the official distributor in Turkmenistan of the Chinese company JAC MOTORS Volkswagen group since October 2022, plans to expand the model line in the near future in accordance with the requests of the domestic car market.
