A solemn reception was held in the capital of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the national holiday of the Islamic Republic of Iran – Revolution Day.
Opening the ceremonial part, the Ambassador of Iran to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. The Ambassador also noted the importance of completing planned projects and paying attention to new opportunities in various fields of industry, transit, energy, agriculture, transport, and artificial intelligence.
In his speech, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov emphasized that trade and economic relations between Iran and Turkmenistan occupy a special place in bilateral relations. The Minister noted that 2025 became one of the most productive periods in the entire history of Turkmen-Iranian dialogue, demonstrating a transition to a new level of cooperation.
