In 2026, ministries and departments, hakimliks of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, and other institutions in Turkmenistan are instructed to ensure the planting of 1.5 million seedlings of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes; velayat hakimliks are to plant 1.5 million seedlings.
According to the document, ministries, departments, velayat hakimliks, and hakimliks of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag are instructed to ensure the planting of fruit tree and grape seedlings by variety on separately allocated land plots, and to provide drip irrigation for seedlings of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes.
The document also instructs the Ministry of Environmental Protection to provide ministries, departments, velayat hakimliks, hakimliks of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as other institutions with grape seedlings and three-year-old tree seedlings in sufficient quantities, and to monitor the planting and care of the seedlings.
The resolution was adopted with the aim of transforming our country into a flourishing garden and significantly enriching its beautiful nature in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.
