An event dedicated to the 2026 motto — “Independent neutral Turkmenistan is the homeland of purposeful winged horses”— was held on February 13 at the Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages in the city of Almaty.
Participants noted that Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are connected by centuries-old traditions of good neighborliness, mutual respect and cultural-historical commonality, which serve as a solid foundation for strategic partnership between the two countries.
As part of the event, the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov "Neutrality of Turkmenistan – A Bright Path to Peace and Trust" was presented, revealing the philosophy of positive neutrality as an important tool for strengthening international peace, stability and trust.
Summing up, participants emphasized that the 2026 motto symbolizes independence, internationally recognized neutrality and Turkmenistan's aspiration for further development and open dialogue with the world community.
