In accordance with the “Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments in 2026,” it is planned to construct and commission residential buildings with a total area of over 900,000 square meters, general education institutions with 3,380 places, and preschool institutions with 1,080 places this year.
To improve the socio-living standards of the population, within the framework of this Program, construction of a number of new buildings will commence in the regions and the capital. The completion of certain facilities and buildings is also planned. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted this at an expanded Government meeting held on February 13.
This year, the following will be constructed and commissioned: 30 houses in the “Parahat-7” residential area of Ashgabat and numerous shopping centers and service buildings; 46 modern houses in the residential area of the Büzmeyin district; as well as in the capital — 127 two-story cottage-type houses and a multipurpose cultural center with 4,000 places, the Head of state said.
