Results of the construction and industrial sector for the first two months of the year summarized
Distinguished President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system to review the results of the work carried out in the country during January-February 2026. During the meeting, Vice-Premier Baymyrat Annamammedov reported on the economic indicators achieved in the construction and industrial complex. During the reporting period, the overall plan for the complex was fulfilled by 129.7%, with growth rates noted across all sectors. Specifically, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture fulfilled its plan by 105.6%, the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production by 122.3%, and the Ministry of Energy by 109.4%. Furthermore, the indicator for the Ministry of Highways stood at 108.6%, and for the Ashgabat City Hakimlýik at 119.4%. Notably, the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern showed high results, implementing the plan by 158%. Having heard the report, the Head of State emphasized the importance of modernizing industrial sectors and ensuring that chemical enterprises operate at full capacity. The necessity of maintaining strict control over the quality of construction standards and projects was also noted. The President gave the Vice-Premier specific instructions to increase the volume of electricity generated in the country and to accelerate the construction of roads.
