An event dedicated to the 2026 motto "Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses" as well as a presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan "Neutrality of Turkmenistan – A Bright Path of Peace and Trust," was held on February 13 at the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In his speech, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan Shadurdy Meredov emphasized that the 2026 motto logically continues the ideas of 2025 – the International Year of Peace and Trust. It was noted that the symbolism of the current motto is conditioned by both the historical commitment of the Turkmen people to their spiritual and cultural values and contemporary global realities.
As part of the event, participants were presented with the book by the President of Turkmenistan "Neutrality of Turkmenistan – A Bright Path of Peace and Trust," and its conceptual and practical provisions were highlighted. It was noted that the publication reveals the legal and political foundations of neutrality, its role in ensuring regional and global stability, and Turkmenistan's contribution to promoting a culture of peace and trust.
At the conclusion of the event, participants were treated to dishes of national Turkmen cuisine.
