Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova reported on the results of activities in the supervised sphere for January–December 2025 at the government meeting held on February 13.
As reported, during the period under review, presentations of books by the President of Turkmenistan were held. In addition, various cultural events and celebrations were organized on the occasion of public holidays and significant dates of the national calendar, and opening ceremonies of social and cultural facilities were conducted. The results of previously announced creative competitions were also summed up.
In 2025, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were successfully held in the cities of Baku and Ganja in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as in the cities of Tashkent and Khiva in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Information about the country’s achievements and the ongoing transformations was widely covered in periodicals, on television and radio channels, and on internet portals.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to develop song and musical art, to fundamentally study, preserve, and promote the original cultural heritage worldwide, and to improve tourism activities.
In addition, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to further develop the network of digital museums, keep under control the activities of libraries and local houses of culture, and increase the production of television and radio programs aimed at the intellectual development of the younger generation.
