Turkmenistan representatives participated in the Economic Cooperation Organization meeting in Tehran
On February 25, a regular meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was held in Tehran. Representatives of Turkmenistan also actively participated in the event. The meeting discussed the issue of conducting a feasibility study for the creation of joint trade zones in the ECO region, a proposal previously put forward at the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, Turkmenistan's experience in this area was presented, in particular the significance of the joint trade zone established between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. As a result, it was proposed to conduct a feasibility study based on the preparation of a corresponding project by the Secretariat. This proposal was supported by the Council of Permanent Representatives of the ECO.
