A nationwide tree-planting campaign will be held in Turkmenistan on March 21. The corresponding decree was signed by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on March 13 via the digital system.
Ministries, sectoral departments, and the khyakimliks of the velayats, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, have been instructed to ensure a high level of organization for the mass planting of saplings.
The document was adopted with the aim of turning the country into a flourishing land, creating forest zones, and ensuring proper care of the planted saplings in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, as well as in implementation of the Presidential Resolution of Turkmenistan “On the Planting of Saplings in Turkmenistan in 2026.”
