On February 26, 2026, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov participated in a joint meeting with Julia Ann Hoggett, Chief Executive Officer of the London Stock Exchange, and Lucy Rigby, Economic Secretary to the UK Treasury.
The Turkmen side emphasized its interest in strengthening practical economic cooperation with British partners and increasing the attraction of long-term capital for infrastructure and energy projects.
Following the meeting, the Turkmen side advocated for expanded cooperation in sustainable finance, banking, auditing, insurance, and digital solutions.
