A creative meeting "Woman and Nature" was held at the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, at the initiative of the public organization "Young Naturalist." The event's atmosphere was enhanced by the participation of distinguished guests—women specialists in education, healthcare, and the media—who shared their professional experience and personal perspectives on environmental issues.
The event was organized with the technical assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Turkmenistan project "Supporting the Process of Updating Turkmenistan's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC 3.0)" as part of the country's commitments under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
Representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection spoke at the meeting, which brought together forty participants.
UNDP experts and young eco-volunteers discussed international commitments in the area of climate change and the implementation of joint projects. Members of the "Young Naturalist" public organization engaged in active dialogue with experts, receiving comprehensive answers to pressing questions. The meeting concluded with a formal ceremony presenting commemorative gifts from the organizers.
The event provided an effective platform for sharing experiences and supporting environmental initiatives among girls and women.
