A dialogue on the role of women diplomats in society was held in Ashgabat
On March 10, an interactive dialogue on the topic "The Role of Women Diplomats in Society and Their Achievements" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan as part of the second regional training for young diplomats and civil servants from Central Asian countries. The dialogue featured presentations by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Mahri Bashimova, Ambassador of Palestine Rana Abu Hijleh, Ambassador of Pakistan Faryal Leghari, UNDP Resident Representative in Turkmenistan Narine Saakyan, and Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO Chynar Rustemova. The presentations focused on the importance of Turkmenistan's policy of permanent neutrality, which serves as a model for promoting peace initiatives and establishing a trusting dialogue in international relations. It was noted that the principle of "Dialogue is a Guarantee of Peace," implemented on the basis of neutrality, contributes to strengthening the role of women in diplomacy and supports their initiatives to ensure peace in the region. Participants emphasized that women's professional achievements in public administration and international cooperation directly impact sustainable development and peace.
