On February 25, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Atajan Movlamov met with the Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani.
During the meeting held at the Parliament Building of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of Turkmen-Pakistani inter-parliamentary cooperation. In this regard, mutual interest in further strengthening the inter-parliamentary dialogue was emphasized.
The meeting also included discussions on promoting mutually beneficial infrastructure and energy projects.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that the consistent deepening of bilateral cooperation would contribute to strengthening regional stability and further expanding mutually beneficial relations between the peoples of the two countries.
