The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he reviewed the progress of construction of the second phase of the new city and the designs of facilities under construction and modernization. Hero-Arkadag also held a working meeting with the participation of relevant officials.
The Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, Deryageldi Orazov, and the hakim of the city, Gulshat Mammedova, reported on the implementation of the second stage of construction. In addition, materials for the decoration of the city mosque of Arkadag were demonstrated.
During the holy month of Oraza, Hajy Arkadag familiarized himself with interior decoration options for the mosque. Emphasizing the special significance of the religious building and the need for careful selection of materials, Hajy Arkadag noted that the exterior and interior design system of the building, including its lighting system, must comply with the high canons of the Islamic world.
Then, Hero-Arkadag was shown landscaping projects for "Akhalteke Atlary" Avenue, samples of equipment and decorative design of administrative buildings, as well as stages of modernization work on the “Polatly” monument.
After reviewing the presented projects, Hero-Arkadag made a number of remarks and introduced adjustments.
Subsequently, the National Leader of the Turkmen people held a working meeting.
The hakim of the city of Arkadag reported on the ongoing sanitary maintenance and improvement works in the city, preparations for upcoming significant dates, as well as events dedicated to International Women’s Day, including a ceremony honoring mothers with many children and housewarming celebrations for their families.
Emphasizing that this year marks the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Charitable Foundation for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the hakim, at the request of the administration of the city of Arkadag, addressed Hero-Arkadag with proposals for a ceremonial celebration of this date.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that the events planned on the occasion of International Women’s Day and the housewarming ceremonies should be organized at a high level. Also approving the planned celebrations dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Foundation’s establishment, Hero-Arkadag stressed the need to prepare a specific celebration plan, as well as the advisability of actively involving cultural and artistic figures of the country in this work.
