To mark International Women's Day, a celebratory conference «Ene hüwdüsi iň kämil eser» was held at the Public Organizations Center. It was jointly organized by the Halk Maslahaty (People's Council) of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis (Parliament), the Ministry of Culture, the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan. The event featured presentations on the importance of women's labor, the development of national handicrafts in the modern era, and more.
The celebration continued with song and music performances featuring national artists. The compositions included tributes to girls and women working in various sectors of society, and also reflected on the continuity of handicraft traditions passed down from generation to generation, raising children, and the importance of family values. The celebrations organized to mark this significant holiday are of great importance in the life of our country, and they are now taking on new meaning.
As the speakers emphasized, women are held in special esteem in Turkmenistan, their handicrafts and the responsible approach of mothers to raising children in accordance with ancestral traditions are highly valued. The role of feminine kindness, maternal love, and gentleness in raising young people was also emphasized.
Speaking of charming, affectionate, honest, conscientious, and patient women, it was emphasized that they are the joy and pride of our people, and their character traits are deeply rooted in antiquity.
It was also noted that the distinctive traditions and good customs of our people, rooted in the depths of time, are currently being developed at a modern level. This is especially true for raising children in the national spirit. The sanctity of a mother's lullaby and its role as the foundation of a happy future were emphasized.
All of the above was reflected in the songs and melodies performed during the celebration.
