Winners of the final stage of the "Woman of the Year" contest announced
The final stage of the "Woman of the Year" contest, organized by the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan in honor of International Women's Day, was held at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. A total of 56 talented and hardworking women from the provinces (welayats) and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag participated in the event. In accordance with the rules, participants competed in 8 categories. A jury composed of leading women of the country fairly evaluated the participants' social activity, as well as their labor and creative achievements. The winners were announced based on the long years of honest labor and the high results achieved by these women. Following the results of the competition, Guljemal Soltanova, director of the Children and Youth Creativity Center of the Main Education Department of Balkan province, was awarded the title "Businesswoman of the Year," while Guljan Amanmyradova, a resident of Bagban village, Biruni gengeshlik, Shabat district of Dashoguz province, won the "Most Tender Woman of the Year" award. Shirin Tejenova, a nurse at the "Emergency Care" center of the Health Department of Arkadag city, distinguished by her unique talent and artistic skills, was declared "Artistic Woman of the Year," and Jennet Akmyradova, head of the dance club at the Children and Youth Creativity Center in Dostluk city, Dowletli district of Lebap province, was named "Most Active Woman in Art of the Year." Additionally, Mahri Jojykowa, manager of the "Merw" greenhouse in Mary district of Mary province, who showed particular activity in the private sector, was chosen as "Entrepreneur Woman of the Year," and Oraztach Nuryyewa, a teacher at the 165th kindergarten in Ashgabat, was named "Mentor Woman of the Year." In this landmark year, Ogulsuray Huseynkulyyewa, a representative of the police department of Ak Bugday district, Ahal province Police Department, was declared "Patriotic Woman of the Year," while Tawus Hudayberdiyewa, a tenant of the "Bayramaly" farmers' association in Garagum district of Mary province, won the title "Leading Rural Woman of the Year." The winners of the final stage of the competition were solemnly presented with Certificates of Honor and gifts on behalf of the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan.
