On April 27, participants of the International rally "Caravan of Friendship" arrived in Turkmenistan.
Here they got acquainted with the sights and historical and cultural monuments of the Lebap Velayat, and then set off again towards our capital - Ashgabat. The caravan route will run through Mary, where participants will have a unique opportunity to visit one of the centers of world civilization — Ancient Margiana — a genuine phenomenon in the history of the Ancient East, the cradle of the fifth civilization of the ancient world.
Earlier it was reported that the caravan will cross the borders of five states – Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran and Armenia. The participants will be on the road for about two weeks.
The group consisted of 80 people. Among them are specialists-road builders and creative figures. They have to travel more than 4,000 kilometers. The final point of the route will be Armenia.
