A meeting of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahri Byashimova with UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan Dmitry Shlapachenko and Ambassadors of Central Asian countries in Turkmenistan took place in Ashgabat on February 9, 2026.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN and its specialized agencies.
Special attention was paid to issues of preparation and holding in the near future in Ashgabat of the second regional training for young diplomats and other civil servants of Central Asian countries.
