At the Olympic Stadium in Ashgabat on February 11, a match took place as part of the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Two – a game between the teams "Arkadag" (Turkmenistan) and "Al-Nassr" (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
Before the start of the match, a concert was held by masters of art from our country. In their performances, they praised the achievements of the Motherland in the field of sports.
From the very first minutes, the competition promised to be intense. Both teams demonstrated skillful ball control.
The coordinated actions of FC "Arkadag" players demonstrated a high level of readiness to face a strong opponent: building a reliable defense, our players launched counterattacks on the "Al-Nassr" team's goal.
The game turned out to be truly exciting. The thunderous support of thousands of fans at the Ashgabat Olympic Stadium created an incredible atmosphere that drove FC "Arkadag" footballers forward throughout the entire match.
The meeting between the "Arkadag" and "Al-Nassr" teams ended with a score of 0:1. In this regard, the words of Hero-Arkadag are noteworthy, that even if the match ends in favor of the opponent, it will still become a real celebration for our people and an incentive for new achievements by our athletes.
