A concert dedicated to the music of Turkmen films was held at the Mukam's Palace

The State Symphony Orchestra performed music from Turkmen films at the of Mukam' s Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan jointly with the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography. Residents of Ashgabat, representatives of various professions, and media representatives participated in the cultural event.

The concert was well-attended. Particularly impressive was the simultaneous screening of excerpts from the films on stage along with the music.

The concert featured approximately 30 songs and musical compositions from beloved Turkmen films. The works performed primarily included works by renowned Turkmen composers Nury Halmammedov, Chary Nurymov, Danatar Hydyrov, and Rejep Rejebov.

The following pieces were performed: "Garagum derýa" from the film "Akar suwuň aýdymy," "Arzuwlar," "At çapyşyk" from the film "Japbaklar," "Sazlar" from the film "Magtymguly," "Läle" from the film "Mukamyň syry," "Gelin" from the film "Hüwdi," and "Meleguş" from the film "Meniň dostum Meleguş." These were performed by talented singers of the country and the women's choir of the State Choir of Turkmenistan. Excerpts from the films "Kärizgenler," "Şükür bagşy," and "Aýgytly ädim" were also performed, transporting older viewers back to their youth.

Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Selbiniyaz Annadurdyyeva, along with Gozel Annahanova, Mansur Sharipov, and others, performed enthusiastically at the concert, delighting the guests with their beautiful voices.

The State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan featured 75 musicians. The State Choir of Turkmenistan and the combined choral ensembles of the 1st and 4th Children's Art Schools of Ashgabat also played an active role.

The concert concluded with excerpts from the outstanding film "Kompozitor," produced with funds from the Charitable Foundation for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which recently won two international TURKSOY awards.
