Turkmenistan and the Japan Equestrian Federation plan to establish cooperation
On March 12, 2026, in Tokyo, a meeting took place between Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Japan, Atadurdy Bayramov, and the leadership of the Japan Equestrian Federation and the Tokyo Equestrian Park, Ito Hiroshi and Yoshikazu Matsuda. During the meeting, the Japanese side was briefed on the large-scale events held in Turkmenistan and abroad during the Year of «Independent neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of purposeful winged horses» as well as the country’s policies in the field of horse breeding. Specific aspects of establishing cooperation with the Japan Equestrian Federation were also discussed.
